The Why Farming Matters in Kent project stakeholders were so happy with the website that Ether Creative had designed for them that they approached the team to see whether we had any ideas to increase visitors to the site.
Although the initiative had over 300 facebook friends and their Twitter was gaining momentum, they wanted as many people to engage with the main site as possible.
We decided to capitalise on the farming theme and looked to one of the biggest social media platforms – YouTube – for inspiration. Some of the most commonly viewed videos on YouTube were of animals and we believed that creating a second site to drive traffic to the main site would be an innovative approach.
Animal Virals is a compilation site, attractively packaged that showcases the very best video uploads that feature animals, in particular farm animals.We have created a one page website with embedded links to the original upload on YouTube, the Why Farming Matters in Kent branding remains key on the Animl Virals site (also launched on Facebook and Twitter).
