Whilst putting the finishing touches to Mid Kent Growers’ custom fruit management web application they asked us if we’d also build them a front facing site they could use to promote to the public, fruit marketers and other Purchaser Organisations what they do.

They asked for a site that would reflect them as a forward thinking cooperative whilst also staying true, aesthetically, to their agricultural standing. We proposed a site which introduced their growers on a personal basis; making extensive use of the Google Maps API to locate each grower and also dynamic areas for showcasing the fruit they’re growing.

We also added in a news section and a jobs board for good measure; all editable through the site’s Content Management System.
