The Kent County Show approached us to create a micro site to help promote the show to a wide online audience. We came up with a marketing concept which fitted in with the print campaign we created for them: ‘I Heart Kent’.
The Campaign site revolves around the idea of loving your county, in this case Kent. Users are encouraged to interact with the site through social media channels to add the things they love most about Kent as place markers on a full-screen Google map.
The site was built using the open-source framework Cake PHP – which allowed us to rapidly deploy this feature heavy, socially integrated marketing application.
