We have been working with Maidenhead aquatics on a number of digital projects since August of 2013. Over the course of this period, we have introduced an outstanding array of internal business tools, web and digital marketing including a relaunch of their website and playing a pivotal in planning and executing digital strategies aimed at increasing site engagement and revenue increases.
Slated as the main hub for communication between the 130+ stores in the MA umbrella, the think tank is a key part of the projects’ digital focus.
Since Ether rebuilt ThinkTank, we have developed transactional email systems for store communications, an on-the-fly Point of Sale designer and email marketing systems for store to customer comms. This is in addition to a digital finance form system for managing interest free credit accounts and a platform for stores to log product returns. Oh, and there’s a powerful internal file sharing platform and a fresh new api driven UI.
Since introducing these features, ThinkTanks engagement has increased dramatically and given the internal marketing department some amazing tools to boot.
After receiving a new design in mid 2014, sales on the fishkeeper.co.uk site doubled, which included an average order value increase of over 20% and a total revenue increase of over 60%. These stats, coupled with a more engaged audience, lower bounce rates, longer time spent on the site and rise in volume of content consumed all contributed to a great 3rd and 4th QTR of 2014.
For the start of quarter 4 we rolled out a responsive component to the site, with streamlined checkout and shopping experiences for mobile users. This saw mobile revenue outperform desktop by 10% and in turn raise mobile revenue by 85%.Launch this Project
