The charity came to Ether to design a website and brand ‘Pole of Cold’ – a 30,000km expedition to the coldest places on earth; from Europe and Serbia all the way to Antarctica, where the name came from.
Understanding that this project was a test of the brave and an educational, scientific, cultural resource that is a trial of the mind and body. We needed to reflect the strength and dedication that this challenging project presented. Bold, clean typography and a strong colour palette of greys and white personified the the whole aim and feel of the project.
RSS feeds were integral to record the journey as it unfolds, as well as outlining, clearly, the expeditions purpose and routes.
Blogs and integrated ‘phonecast’ document every movement of the adventure; the good, the bad and the bitter cold.
