Rosemary Shrager's Cookery School was desperate to give their website a fresh look and improved user experience in order to improve customer success rates of booking and purchasing online. The team were fielding lots of calls to take bookings because users were struggling.

We were also tasked with increasing the backend functionality of the booking system; creating a one-stop-shop for booking management.

The natural choice was to build the site using Craft CMS and Craft Commerce. The trouble we had, though, was the lack of a viable booking system; there were options, but they were all a half measure. It was time to roll up our sleeves.

We decided to build a booking plugin that not only hit all the brief points for our client but also was able to work in a far more flexible way; allowing us to broaden its application for other kinds of sites and users.
